Title: Transcriptomic analysis of different microglia phenotypes in healthy ageing and Alzheimer’s Disease
Project: My projects aims to give a better understanding of the immune processes taking place in the aging and diseased brain. We compare the transcriptome of microglia from Alzheimer patients to donors without brain diseases. My main interests are bioinformatics analyses that provide new insights into signal transduction pathways and novel Alzheimer pathology markers.
