Ody Sibon nominated for the Ben Feringa Impact Award

On May 25, a selected group of nominated researchers and students from RUG will compete for the prestigious nanocar-trophfe and eternal fame coupled to the Ben Feringa Impact Award. Ody Sibon is one of these nominees for her work on the disease PKAN, which she moved from basic and mechanistical discoveries in fruit fly models to the development of a clinical product and a trial in human PKAN patients within 6 years. The event will take place in “het Forum” in Groningen and on behalf of the RuG, Ben Feringa himself will present the award to the winners as an impuls for and recognition of impact-driven scientific research .
