In November 2016 the Cell Biology Department was visited by Auditors from Det Norske Veritas (certifying institution) to see whether DCB complies with ISO 9001-2008. Every aspect of the Department was examined: Research, Training, Management, Quality Assurance. The Department received compliments on a variety of items. Especially the way the PhD guidance is organized was regarded as an example for the whole of the UMCG. Also the way DCB is improving itself by using an Incident Report System, the Auditors were pleased with. So now the Department can truthfully say: We do as we say, we say as we do and we can prove it! |
