Title: Apathy project
Project: In this project, I am developing statistical methods to investigate dynamic functional connectivity using phase synchronization. In a recent paper, I investigated the association between dynamic functional connectivity in specific brain networks, physical activity and apathy in patients with schizophrenia. In subsequent papers, I will investigate dynamic functional connectivity in specific brain networks in At-Risk Mental State patients and in patients with schizophrenia and varying levels of apathy during affective forecasting. Furthermore, I am involved in studies using actigraphy in schizophrenia patients and healthy controls to investigate whether this method can be used as an objective measure for apathy.
