  • Pauline Verlhac is a postdoctoral researcher at the UMCG. Her research focuses on non-conventional functions of autophagy proteins in viral infections and cell physiology.

    Pauline Verlhac was trained as a molecular cell biologist in the team of Professor Mathias Faure at the International Center for Infectiology Research (Lyon, France). Her work focused on the functions of autophagy receptors during bacterial and viral infections. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Lyon (France) in 2016, she joined the laboratory of Professor Fulvio Reggiori at the UMCG in 2017.

    She is a member of the Nordic Autophagy Society (http://nordicautophagy.org/) and of the Club Francophone de l’Autophagie (http://cfatg.org/).
